A public encore performance of Forever Plaid will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Jack and Donna Clark Auditorium on the Flower Mound High School [FMHS] campus, 3411 Peters Colony in Flower Mound.
The musical is a revue of the tight-harmony "guy groups" popular in the 1950s and features many Hit Parade songs from that era.
Forever Plaid was presented by the Flower Mound High School Performing Arts Department under the direction of Scott Taylor in September and has been selected as one of three Main Stage shows for the convention of the International Thespian Society on Nov. 21 in Fort Worth.
The convention performances will be seen by more than 3,000 actors, technicians, theatre sponsors, local college representatives and professionals.
A suggested minimum $5 donation will be accepted at the door to benefit the FMHS chapter of the International Thespian Society.
